This processor features six cores with twelve threads, thanks to Hyper-Threading Tech. The base frequency is at 2.60GHz, and when in heavy-duty can boost up to a max of 5.00GHz, thanks to Turbo Boost Tech. It has also a 12 MB L3 cache memory and an integrated Intel UHD Graphics. HP OMEN 15 has a full-size island-style keyboard with a decent key size. It is equipped with a numeric keypad, 4-zone RGB backlit, and 26-Key Rollover Anti-Ghosting Key technology. Aside, the WASD keys are outlined to highlight key gaming controls.
The touchpad is not right in the middle but slightly to the left. It has a wide smooth surface with two-click buttons below and supports multitouch gestures, so your fingers can smoothly slide on it for navigation.
The web camera is an HD one with an integrated dual array digital microphone.
On the audio side, this gaming laptop has a dual stereo speaker and HP Audio Boost 2.0 with the audio set by Bang & Olufsen.
