As a large size laptop, the HP Pavilion laptop features a 17.3-inch display. This is an anti-glare Full HD display with a 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and 16:9 aspect ratio. The color gamut is 100% sRGB while the brightness is 300nits. This panel also comes with IPS tech. The screen looks bright and can provide clear and detailed images with crisp colors. And the display quality won’t be much affected by different viewing directions. All remain steady even when viewed from an extreme angle.
The ports are quite a lot. There is only one port on the right, a USB Type-A port, while the rest are on the left such as a pair of SuperSpeed USB Type-A ports, HDMI 1.4b port, RJ-45 port, and headphone/mic combo jack. According to the manufacturer, both SuperSpeed USB ports have a 5Gbps signaling rate.
As for networking, aside from the wired connection via RJ-45 port, this laptop also offers wireless options, ie 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 4.2.

As we know, it is a large laptop. This HP laptop has dimensions of 16.33 x 10.72 x 0.96 inches and a weight of 5.25lbs. Yes, it is slightly big and a bit heavy however it is still nice to carry away for outdoor use. Moreover, the battery supports that.
This laptop is powered by a Lithium-ion battery that can give up to 7.5 hours of power, enough for a day of work. So you don’t need to worry about power deficiency when working outdoor.
Basically this laptop is also suitable for those who are mobile and often work with laptops outdoors. But we call it a good laptop for high school students because there are other considerations. While this laptop is strong enough to handle all daily tasks, it’s also competitively priced.
